Pochampally Ikat
Delicate, sheer and utterly beautiful, our Pochampally Ikat scarves and stoles showcase one of India's most technically demanding weaving traditions. Pochampally, a village in Telangana, is world-famous for its Ikat weaving — a resist-dyeing technique where the threads themselves are dyed in precise patterns before weaving, creating the characteristic soft-edged, almost blurred geometric motifs that make Ikat instantly recognisable.
Pochampally Ikat has received a Geographical Indication (GI) tag from the Government of India, recognising it as an exclusive craft of the region. Each piece in our collection carries this heritage — woven on handlooms by skilled artisans whose families have practised this craft for generations. A Pochampally Ikat stole is not just a fashion accessory — it is a piece of living Indian textile heritage.
